A double-action pistol, 13-round staggered magazine and frame-mounted manual safety. The 84 Cheetah features a corrosion-resistant anodized alloy frame with matte black finish and Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum steel barrel with hard chromed bore for longer life.

All police trade-ins are fully functional but aesthetic conditions vary. All used items are sold as is with no returns.

1 of 5 Worn out pistol needs gunsmithing to work May 24, 2022

The pistol I received was well worn and extremely dirty. I removed the grips and field stripped it and cleaned it the best I could but it really needs a full tear-down. The surplus gun was apparently not well cared for by the previous agency. I've heard that many of the model 84 Berettas were very clean and in good condition but mine does not fit that criteria. The pistol I received from ArmsUnlimited does not function as designed as only the double action mechanism works, The single action position does not engage leaving the pistol as being double action only. My guess is the sear is worn down and not engaging but the pistol will require a professional to sort it out which will probably cost me additional money. In retrospect I should have just bought a clean example from an auction site instead of a bulk surplus retailer. This is the risk we all take buying surplus. Buyer beware.

I have been looking for a Beretta Cheetah for about two years. I stumbled upon AU and they had some on sale. I leapt at the chance and I was rewarded. It arrived to my local ffl dealer in an expected time frame after following AU's instructions. Obviously, the gun is used, but still functions perfectly. I was very satisfied with my purchase and will recommend AU in the future.

So some how I’ve accidentally become a Beretta collector.  The 84BB I received did not disappoint.  Light holster wear that would be expected of a surplus firearm is the only sign of use.
