SureFire 500-Lumen MP5 Forend WeaponLight

Description:

The SureFire 328LMF-B replaces the original forend of your Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun, HK53 rifle, or HK94 carbine. Extremely compact 3-volt (1-battery) system features a virtually indestructible LED emitter focused by a TIR lens, which produces a brilliant beam optimized for close- to medium range applications. A single momentary-on pressure pad switch is integrated into the right side of the forend. The 328LMF-B generates 500 lumens of output and has a tactical runtime of 1.4 hours per battery, with gradually decreasing output afterward.

The SureFire 500 Lumen MP5 Forend WeaponLight is as well designed, expertly functional, and unfailingly reliable as all the Surefire Weapon Lights. This design is a particular favorite, the earlier version of which which I used on the job for many years. With it's solid construction, comfortable and safe forend grip, perfectly placed, silent controls, and long-reaching crisp white light, it's perfectly suited for law enforcement use, personal protection, and home defense. It's also seemingly indestructible, and will easily withstand years of live fire. There is a 1000 lumen version in the same series, but the light body on that one extends fairly far beyond the muzzle, if that makes a difference to you. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive the updated version of this weapon light!  The photo on the AU website depicts the older version of the light. The version I received was the one with the on/off switch on the left and the momentary switch on the right.   As always, I’m grateful for AU’s exemplary customer service.
