B&T USW Grip Module for Sig Sauer P320 Pistols

Description:

The B&T USW-320 Universal Service Weapon Grip Module converts the Sig Sauer P320 Pistol (full size or compact) into the Universal Service Weapon configuration. The USW is the size of a normal duty pistol but extends the range, accuracy and effectiveness of your handgun to that of a 9mm submachine gun. It is ideal for any situation where the chance for a longer distance shot is possible.

This configuration will enable the operator to effectively and accurately engage targets out to 50 yards and beyond; that is more than double the effective range of a service pistol. Distances that were thought to be impossible with a standard handgun. The operator just removes the trigger group and insertes this into the patented USW-320 Upgrade Chassis. There are no other modifications to the weapon; the trigger group is held in place by the take-down lever. Furthermore the slide (full-size or compact) and the magazine holder are swapped to the new polymer lower. The whole transfer takes about two minutes. The USW-320 Upgrade Chassis has an integrated standard Picatinny accessory rail for a light/laser and the folding stock. It is still ambidextrous in handling, with the ambidextrous slide catch lever and reversible magazine catch. The folding stock folds onto the right side of the weapon, where the stock release is also situated. The stock can easily and safely be operated with either the left or the right hand. The USW-320 Upgrade Chassis accepts standard P320 magazines of 17 and 21 rounds and even any aftermarket 30-round size. The firearm‘s serial number is on the trigger group instead of the grip module and this is what is considered a firearm in most countries, not the Upgrade Chassis. This means that the USW-320 Upgrade Chassis is not firearm and thus is not serialized and can be sold and shipped with no restrictions.

The USW-320 will enable the shooter to produce very tight shot groups at 25 yards and to place first round incapacitating hits at distances beyond 50 yards. This is possible even under the stress of a life-threatening confrontation.

NOTE: Before installation you must first register your pistol with the ATF using ATF Form 1 as a Short Barrel Rifle.

Stock works flawlessly and when the release button is pressed with your gripped hand it opens 3-4 inches making completing the opening motion effortless. This has some real concealed carry potential with the attachment point at the hinge of the stock like a mac 10 shoulder rig hanging just below your armpit.

4 of 5 B&T quality; B&T pie October 1, 2020

The grip module is typical B&T quality and typical B&T price, which is to say it is highly, highly overpriced. But it is very solid feeling considering the entire thing is plastic. I have two gripes: 1) the frame is the compact length, I think, but it'd be a better chassis if it was the full size. You just get more space to add picatinny stuff in the front since there is a little nub for locking the stock in that takes away from usable pic space; 2) the stock is all plastic, and while it feels solid, it'd feel even better if it was metal or had some metal to it.

This thing is insanely overpriced, but it's B&T, so.... it is what it is.

5 of 5 A well thought out product May 28, 2020

I got it as a fun novelty SBR project. Polymer feels just like any other handgun polymer. Stock feels solid with no wobble out of the box and the LOP is surprisingly long (slightly more than an MOE adjustable stock @ 14.17" vs 13.8"). Grip shape is serviceable. I've got tiny hands and found it a little on the boxy side but it wasn't uncomfortable. Would recommend.

I think Farrowtech makes an adapter to convert it to a brace but you can't holster it anymore.
